Directors & Associate
Rendell L. Brewster
EMAC Currency was founded in 2001 by Rendell L. Brewster, a retired Treasurer of Texaco's (now Chevron's) Caribbean/Central America Division. A veteran oil Company executive, he held senior positions in International Finance and Comptroller's Department both in the United States as well as in foreign subsidiaries. He led the Caribbean/Central American Division (CARCA) to become the No. 1 downstream operation within Texaco (now Chevron). He is a graduate of the Wharton School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with double majors in Finance and Management.
Rendell is also a Certified Public Accountant in the United States of America, a Chartered Certified Accountant of the United Kingdom and a Chartered Accountant of Trinidad and Tobago. Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and the Institute of Taxation (UK).
Rendell has over 30 years experience in finance and accounting including: financial consulting, business advisory and business planning, business valuation, management services, extensive tax and accounting services for corporate clients domestically and internationally and financial and performance audits.
Eddison has held various senior executive positions including Senior Marketing Executive, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer in major global companies such as AT&T and Lucent Technologies Canada Corp. As Lucent Technologies Canada's CFO (1998-2003), Eddison was directly responsible for managing all aspects of finance, treasury and controllership function. Eddison spearheads EMAC business consulting activities delivering a full range of "CFO" services, providing strategic and business planning, financial management, and monthly operational reviews, including performance management and control systems for implementing strategy. Eddison holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy; is Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants- F.C.C.A (U.K.); is a Certified General Accountant - C.G.A., Member of the Canadian Institute of Investor Relations and Member of Financial Executive Institute. He is also a graduate of the Harvard University's Graduate Business Schools' Diploma Program- "Driving Corporate Performance from Scorekeeping to Strategy".
Anarylis Ramos - Associate
Anarylis, currently an independent consultant for major corporations with subsidiaries in Latin America, brings several years of experience in domestic and international treasury and accounting to the firm. Past experience includes working in the Coral Gables regional Head Office for Texaco (now Chevron) in Miami where she performed financial services for the corporation’s subsidiaries/branches in the 34 countries in the Caribbean and Central America, including: cash management, loan negotiations and agreements, banking relationships, foreign exchange transactions, currency transaction reporting, financial planning and economic appraisals. Prior to joining, she worked in healthcare in Puerto Rico with Physicians’ Corporation of America and Abbot Laboratories. Her experience covers several industries including Energy, Water Management, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare and Financial Services. Anarylis is multi-lingual – English/Spanish/French.
